Pamela Cerdeira ensures that it is sad to discover that the current government is not worse than the previous ones but is the same, all this after seeing the videos that areand made public where you can see Pío López Obrador, brother of the president of Mexico, receiving envelopes with money from David León.
The journalist points out that the only difference between the videos of the PAN members of the Senate and that of President López Obrador’s brother ands the amount of money that is given.
In one of the videos allegedly recorded in May 2015, Pío López can be seen receiving a manila envelope. Also, the conversation hints that the money transfers have been made constantly for several months.
In the second video it seems to be hinted that these money transfers are contributions for the National Regeneration Movement party (Morena).
President Andrés Manuel López Obrador asserted that with the videos where his brother Pio López Obrador and the Former National Coordinator of Civil Protection, David León “They seek to equate things and say they are all the same, this is quite usual, recurrent when a transformation is taking place.”
The president assured that the money is contributions for the movement “At times when the people were the ones who supported, basically, we have been fighting for many years and the people have financed us as has happened when revolutions have been carried out.”
