TO For the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a batch of modernized and repaired T-64 tanks. The work was carried out by the state enterprise “Kharkov Armored Plant“which is part of”Ukroboronprom“.

It is noted that the modernization helped expand the combat capabilities of tanks and increase the reliability of their components, assemblies and weapons.
“Thus, the plant has completed ahead of schedule the execution of the contract under the state defense order for 2021 with limited funding,” the company said.
T-64 is the main battle tank of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In 2017, Ukraine began a large-scale modernization of this model of military equipment. The tank received an updated night vision sight, a modern radio station, and an upgraded engine.
