Washington.- The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) issued new guidelines Wednesday for employees considered essential during the pandemic of Covid-19such as those who work in the medical and food supply industries.
The recommendations focus on when those workers can return to work after being exposed to the new coronavirus.
The new guidelines are:
-Check your temperature before work.
– Carry one mask at all times.
-Practice social distancing as work obligations allow.
-Do not stay at work if you get sick.
-Do not share headphones or used objects near the face.
-Do not congregate in the break room or other crowded places.

The CDC also issued recommendations for employers in essential industries:
-Review the temperature of the employees and evaluate the symptoms before they start working.
-Increase the frequency of cleaning surfaces that are commonly touched.
-Increase the air exchange in the building.
-Send sick workers home immediately.
– Test the use of masks to make sure they do not interfere with the workflow.
