Almost all the products on display in the electromedical department were the first to be sold at express pace. It is not surprising, however, since TV sets or laser printers were several hundred zlotys cheaper than the original price. Many products are still heavily discounted, including household items.
By the end of the summer holidays, the Auchan store in Dąbrowa Górnicza and Mysłowice, also located there at Katowicka Street, will be closed.
– The decision to close a store is always very difficult for the company and its employees. Due to the closure of two Auchan stores in Dąbrowa Górnicza and Mysłowice – a situation related to collective redundancy, transfer to other stores, or – the decision of employees who acquired pension rights to retire – to exercise these rights, applies to the entire team of both hypermarkets – she said Dorota Patejko, communication and CSR director at Auchan Retail Polska.

Ultimately, as we found out at the Poviat Labor Office in Dąbrowa Górnicza, 163 employees of Auchana Dąbrowa were reported for dismissal as part of collective redundancies.
