The drivers will have to do with less luxury in the Formula 1 paddock in the coming months. Especially in Europe, where the teams like to show off their grandiose motorhomes with all the trimmings, the drivers will have to settle for something simpler for now.
The multi-storey motorhomes have been replaced by three sea containers, reports Formula 1 photographer Kym Illman from Austria. In the middle of the containers there is room for some other personnel, probably PR personnel, who can go there in between.
In any case, the drivers don’t have to worry about not being able to find their own dressing room, because their portraits are on life-size posters on the side of the containers.
