“The number of cases is rising. We have 220 cases reported on Tuesday, which is a record in the number of reported cases in the capital city of Prague so far, “said Zdeňka Jágrová, Director of Prague Hygiene. However, Prague Hygiene is not going to introduce any new measures in addition to those that have already been announced.
So hygiene wants to wait first for those that will be in force from 9 September. “It is important to keep calm. Nothing will really change now. We have to wait for the situation to develop, ”said HSHMP spokesman Zbyněk Boublík for TN.cz.
“It is true that the situation is changing every day. In any case, we cannot take action without having the results of the measures introduced earlier. Everything is governed by the traffic light and the situation is always evaluated on a weekly basis. But at the moment, we really don’t have anything on the table. ” adds Boublík.
On Friday, the Prague Hygiene announced the tightening of measures on 9 September. This applies in particular to the opening hours of bars, restaurants and nightlife. Newly, veils will also be mandatory in shops, shopping malls and post offices.
Subsequently, the veils will have to be worn in the common areas of school facilities from 14 September. The only exceptions are kindergartens and universities. Prague Hygiene does not plan any other tightening so far.
