Suara.com – Task Force Leader Covid-19 The Indonesian Doctors Association (IDI) Professor Zubairi Djurban also commented on the case findings florona in Israel.
Professor Zubairi confirms that florona is not a new variant of the virus corona cause of Covid-19 illness.
He explained that florona was actually a double infection between Covid-19 and influenza.
“What you need to know from Florona, is not a new variant. The first case is a pregnant woman in Israel,” said Prof Zubairi through his personal Twitter account, Sunday (2/1/2022).

The findings of the case were reported for the first time by an Israeli newspaper, Yedioth Ahronoth.
Professor Zubairi added, from the newspaper report it was said that the pregnant woman who was the first patient of florona had not been vaccinated against Covid-19.
Until now, the florona case still needs to be investigated further.
“Indicated to damage the immune system,” said the internal medicine specialist.
The newspaper Yedioth Ahronoth previously reported that a case of florona was found in a woman who entered Rabin Medical Center due to give birth. When tested, he tested positive for Covid-19.

The local Health Ministry is still studying the case and has not determined whether the combination of the two viruses causes a more serious illness.
