A total of 239 cases of coronavirus infection increased on Saturday. The figures were published by the Ministry of Health. The death toll did not increase, but hospitals admitted another eight patients with Covid-19, a total of 116, of which 22 were in severe condition.
There are 5,285 active cases. However, data from the Ministry of the Interior show that the declining trend in the share of hospitalized patients in the total number of active cases continues. While 8 to 12 percent were hospitalized in the spring, it is now 2.29 percent. In the last two months, the share has never exceeded 3.76 percent.

The absolute highest number of infected is recorded in Prague and the Moravian-Silesian Region, in Silesia Karviná is the worst with 2,230 cases. In terms of 100,000 inhabitants, it is most infected in the Kolín region, namely 42.88, then in the Uherské Hradiště region with 40.08 infected and in the Plzeň-sever district with 40.01 patients.
