Nothing can stop the zombies, and it’s probably not about to stop since it has just been announced a new spin-off series: Isle of the Dead.

The return of the dynamic duo

This series will follow the characters of Maggie and Negan – already played by Lauren Cohan and Jeffrey Dean Morgan respectively in the original series – who arrive in Manhattan. There, they will be confronted with an environment cut off from the world for a long time which will prove all the more dangerous and terrifying.

Isle of the Dead will be showrun by Eli Jorné – who has previously worked on The Walking Dead as co-executive producer and screenwriter – always with the presence of Scott M. “Eli has created a chaotic, beautiful, and grimy museum of horrors for Negan, Maggie, and the fans of the show, eager to discover an unknown and crazy world in the TWD universe. Lauren and Jeffrey have always been fantastic collaborators and now we’re going to take that cooperation to a whole new level with a series that will push these characters beyond their limits with their environment – and with each other.
