During an interview given to CBC/Radio-Canada, 18-year-old Heather Diamond Strongarm points out that there is a lack of representation of Indigenous women in the fashion industry.

The young woman’s journey began two years ago with a modeling workshop organized in the First Nation Fishing Lake. It was there that she caught the eye of a Toronto agency.

Heather Diamond Strongarm says that through these shows she was able to bond with other models and agencies around the world.
I never thought that one day I would travel to these great places and meet such interesting people
