“Yes, the vaccine can have desirable effects: let’s get vaccinated!” This is the message of the campaign launched by French Ministry of Health with posters on the street and posts on social networks to support carpet vaccination, enhanced to make the summer safer and limit the risks of a new wave of Covid in the fall. «Hugging, celebrating, traveling, getting together with the family … Every #vaccination is life that starts again. Don’t wait any longer. Let’s get vaccinated “, the French posters still repeat. The images are evocative and “promise” kisses, dances and free holidays. But on one condition: protect yourself against the Coronavirus.

The formula “Desirable effects”, as the agency that produced the campaign explains, it aims to counter that of “Adverse effects” triggered in some cases by some types of vaccine. Fears, the latter, that in France as in many other parts of the world have slowed the vaccination campaign.

At the moment, about 50.6 percent of French people have received the first dose, 34.5 are fully vaccinated. There percentage that would guarantee immunity it is still distant and the fear of a new wave after the holidays remains high. For this reason, itinerant vaccination centers are being set up in France, while bus tours with doctors and vaccines on board have already begun in some regions. Meanwhile, from next 9 July the discos should reopen also in the Alps.
