This was stated by the Chairman of the Foreign Affairs Committee of the US House of Representatives Gregory Meeks at a press conference in Chisinau, writes Radio Europe.
“My position is that we need to talk with the Moldovan government. I don’t want to go beyond what the Moldovan leadership requires of us,” he said.
According to him, “the dialogue is underway” and decisions will be made “collectively” between the allies, and Moldova is one of the best allies of the United States.
