Exclusive translation: The US Food and Drug Administration has decided to withdraw a “Starbucks” branded drink from 7 US states, due to the possibility of metal parts in the bottles.
The draw includes a Starbucks Vanilla Espresso Triple Shot, sold in 15-ounce bottles and manufactured by PepsiCo, according to CBS News.
And 221 cases of beverages sold in retail stores will be recalled in the following states: “Arkansas, Arizona, Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Oklahoma, Texas”.
For its part, PepsiCo did not respond to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration’s statement, but a spokesperson for the brand said the affected bottles have the best production date and are usable until March 20, 2023.
