Serving the collective
If the maintenance goes through successful collective benefits and rewarded with points – it is a truism – individual exploits can allow the teams at the bottom of the table to offer a breath of fresh air. On Saturday, Messin Alexandre Oukidja disgusted the Nantes attackers (0-0). Sidy Sarr, decisive passer against Angers (1-0), is one of the symbols of the Nîmes revival. On the side of Dijon, after Stephy Mavididi, double scorer last weekend, it is Mounir Chouiar who distinguished himself with a double synonymous with a draw in Bordeaux (2-2). As for Gaël Kakuta and Serhou Guirassy, they showed against PSG that the Amiens salute could go through the game (4-4).

Past candidates …
Since the start of the season, at least one player per Championship day had received a score greater than or equal to 8 in these columns, effectively securing a place in the typical team. This weekend, however, nobody had more than 7, causing a traffic jam at certain positions: Slimani (Monaco), Osimhen (Lille), Touré (Reims) or Diony (Saint-Étienne) claimed in particular a place in front, but these were expensive. Same thing in goals where neither Mandanda (Marseille) nor Benitez (Nice) made as many saves as Oukidja.

Amavi power 5
Among all the players in the Championship, only two were present at least as often as Jordan Amavi (Marseille) in the typical team: the Parisians Angel Di Maria (5 appearances) and Neymar (6). However, the Marseille defender’s average is far from that of the two Parisians: the sign of a two-speed season.
