The Tucuman businessman died as a result of the accident – Viva la radio

The poor condition of the road would be the cause of the accident suffered by a businessman who was wanted since Sunday in Tucuman, whose lifeless body was found this Wednesday next to the truck in which he was traveling and fell into a ravine about 200 meters deep for reasons that are being investigated.

The Tucumán Police found the body of Tomás Terán Nougués (40) in the town of Colalao del Valle, located about 93 kilometers northwest of the provincial capital, and the autopsy revealed that he died as a result of the accident.

Personnel who carried out the raking and tracking tasks found the truck and Jorge Dib, Director General of Criminal Investigations and Complex Crimes of the Police, said that “a few meters from the vehicle, was the body.”

Terán Nougués, a native of Yerba Buena, lay at the bottom of a ravine approximately 200 meters deep, like his vehicle, on a route that was very difficult to access and with little traffic.

“The main hypothesis is that he suffered an accident due to the state of the roads, which is not recommended to travel with this type of vehicle,” said Dib.

The police spokesman pointed out that since the family’s complaint was received, they worked in coordination with the Prosecutor’s Office for Complex Crimes II, headed by Mariana Rivadeneira, to advance the investigation and activate all the protocols.

“When we started the search, we discovered that on Sunday Terán Nougués had crossed the different health posts in the Calchaquí Valleys and, after undergoing the corresponding medical check-ups, continued on his way”Dib commented.

The rescuers and search teams deployed an extensive tour of the places where he was last seen and those he frequented, since he owned a business in Colalao del Valle and was a regular in the area.

Terán Nougués had been seen for the last time on Sunday and when he left his house he had left his cell phone, so his family began to share his photo on social networks and asked for collaboration to know his whereabouts since doubts and fears began to grow as the hours passed.
