The 35-year-old Jeton G. is said to have shot the martial artist B. R. from behind. As of Wednesday, he will have to answer to the Zurich District Court.

“I take everything I need by force, brother!” – Jeton G. (35) likes to present himself as a strong man. The Swiss with Kosovar roots had to answer today for the alleged murder of a bouncer. He is said to have shot martial artist B.R. * in Zurich-Affoltern in March 2015, and has since been in early prison.

It is from there that the 35-year-old is said to have recorded a video that has since spread to social networks. He shows himself in his cell and gesticulates to the beat of the song “Kalt Bruder” by the German rappers Capital Bra and Samra. “Fuck the prison, brother,” the 35-year-old cheers with the text. In the end, he closes his arms to form the double-eagle symbol.

The clip also caused excitement during the trial, because according to “Blick” the possession of electronic recording devices is prohibited in the Pöschwies prison. The victim’s lawyer promptly requested the accused’s management report. It is not the first time that Jeton G. has committed a criminal offense. He was on trial for robbery, theft and drugs.

The accusation

In March 2015, the hooligan and martial artist B. R. was shot in Zurich-Affoltern. A week later, the police arrested the now 35-year-old Jeton G.

The shots were preceded by a long argument between the two men. At the end of February, for example, according to the indictment on Facebook, Jeton G. wrote to the later victim: «B * ich fick dis Läbe. You go I * go, you dishonorable dog. Chum to me, chum to dim nightmare. I will be the last second where you are walking, you son of a bitch. »

The two men arranged a meeting in which Jeton G. attended with two colleagues and B. R. with friends. At this meeting, the situation escalated – verbally and physically. A colleague of Jeton G. hit R. in the face with a fist, it says in the indictment. R. broke three incisors.

Three shots at refugees

Then Jeton G. and a friend of R. practically used pepper spray at the same time. G.’s colleague immediately pulled out the loaded revolver, which G. is said to have packed and given to him before the meeting. The colleague is said to have shot vertically in the air. R. and his friend fled.

Then Jeton G. grabbed the gun and fired three shots at the “defenseless refugees”, as the indictment says. B. R. was hit by at least one projectile from behind. He bled to death at the fuselage shot at the scene. The friends were not injured.

Two colleagues are also charged

According to the indictment, the father of the family acted “particularly unscrupulously” at a moment when his victim was defenseless and panicked on the run. How high the requested penalties are will only be announced during the process. This is expected to take four days. Two colleagues are also accused, one of them for helping to deliberately kill, the other for multiple injuries.

The case of Jeton G. made headlines across Switzerland in 2015. Discussions caused that the intensive offender Jeton G. received social assistance despite his long criminal record. He owned a jaguar, illegally grew hemp, and had received a total of CHF 200,000 in welfare for himself and his family in the six years before the fact.
