According to the information collected by the heavy.com website, the rumors began after a news item about British actress Annabelle Wallis circulated. Wallis, best known for playing Grace in Peaky Blinders, told in an interview with The Hollywood Reporter how did he get the co-star of The Mummy, Tom Cruise, run with her in front of the camera.
According to a quote from the media, a YouTube user would have created the confusion when he translated the interview into Chinese and changed to “Annabelle escaped.”
