The Top 3 Mid-Range Cellphones in China According to AnTuTu’s Assessment | Republika Online

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA—Market smartphone has grown rapidly in recent years. Mid-range phone or mid-range has gained a lot of popularity due to its affordable price and good performance.

Among mid-range phones in China, the best performing devices are those running serial chips Snapdragon 7. This is proven by the February 2023 ranking of the popular comparison platform, AnTuTu.

According to AnTuTu, the first place goes to Nothing Phone 1 (Snapdragon 778G+ , 8GB+256GB) with an average score of 567,387 points. Then in second place is Real GT Master (Snapdragon 778G, 8GB+256GB), with an average score of 544,652. The third place is occupied by the Poco X5 Pro (Snapdragon 778G, 8GB+256GB) with an average score of 543048.

It is interesting to note that despite the competition, the mid-range phone rankings have not changed significantly.

Reported from Gizchina, one of the trends observed in recent months is the emergence of new processors from various manufacturers. For example, MediaTek will be bringing another new processor to the market, which Gizchina expects to replace the Snapdragon 778G.

This is great news for users, as it will give them more options to choose from when buying a mid-range phone. However, it should be noted that even with this new processor, Snapdragon 7 series chips continue to dominate the mid-range mobile market.

Despite the dominance of the Snapdragon 7 series chips, many manufacturers are starting to use the Snapdragon 8+ as a sub-flagship in their new phones. However, AnTuTu still considers the Snapdragon 8+ as a flagship processor. That’s why many new Snapdragon 8+ powered phones don’t appear in the AnTuTu sub-flagship list.

In conclusion, the mid-range mobile market is very competitive. Snapdragon 7 series chips are becoming the preferred choice for top performing phones.

With the emergence of new processors from various manufacturers, Gizchina hopes to see options for users in the near future. It is clear that this must be in the interest of the consumer.
