the Thionvillois Corradi and Bouzonville placed

The Volmerange-les-Mines shooting range hosted a 22LR rifle shooting competition this weekend at a distance of 50 meters. It was contested on targets with coats of arms by about sixty French and foreign competitors. Each competitor had at his disposal 25 shots on the same card and three cards per day, that is, after two days, 150 shots for a total of 1500 points.

At the end of the competition, the victory went to the Belgian Francis Deberque who, with 1497 points (111 flies), was two strokes ahead of the Northerners Luc Brouquier and Mario De Graeve. The Lorrainers stood out thanks to Dominique Corradi, seventeenth in the scratch classification, and Gérard Bouzonville (ATPN Thionville), twenty-sixth. The Vosges were not left out with the Brique family (Cyrille, the father, and Zachary, the son, still a junior) who obtained a place in the first part of the table.

In the women’s event, Monique Lendormi, of the Eurostand Lorraine Shooting Society, climbed to fifth place.
