The “Surface Duo” series suffered from various bugs after the Android 12L update

Foreign media such as Phone Arena reported on 9 (local time) that various bugs were reported in the Android 12L update for Surface Duo and Surface Duo 2 distributed by Microsoft (MS).

The most reported bug is reportedly with the phone app. Although symptoms vary from user to user, many users report that they are unable to hang up and are unable to answer phone calls when they ring.

There is also a bug that sometimes does not work in the search bar and some users report that the battery gets low after installing the update. Search bar bug returns to normal after reboot.

Microsoft has not yet officially recognized any bugs. It is not yet known whether Microsoft has started working on a bug fix internally.
