BERLIN, January 1 (Reuters) – The flight crew union of Germanwings, Lufthansa’s low-cost subsidiary, has decided not to continue the strike they observed for three days which led to the cancellation of dozens of flights.
Ufo, the organization behind the social movement, which spanned Monday through Wednesday, will discuss the terms of the wage dispute over the airline’s management on Sunday.
Only 20 of the 220 flights scheduled have been able to operate in the past three days, but management has contacted other Lufthansa subsidiaries to limit the impact of the strike on passengers. (Markus Wackert, French version Nicolas Delame)
