It was in the early 90s that Khaled meets his first wife, Karima Benkaina. She bore him a son, named Anyss and which was born a few months after their breakup. Only, the singer never recognized this child and even less wanted to meet himswearing to have been “cheated”.
However, Anyss is convinced that Khaled is indeed her father, as he constantly proclaims during various interviews: “I exist. I bear his name. I have his mouth. I just want him to come and talk to me for five minutes,” he told the Parisianin 2013. And to admit that he suffered a lot from this situation:
Yes, I have resentment. Some of his fans know him and not me.
Especially since justice has recognized the paternity of Khaled.

Indeed, in 2001, the Nanterre court recognized this long disputed paternity and sentenced Khaled Hadj Ibrahim, his real name, to a two-month suspended prison sentence for family abandonment and non-payment of alimony. Today, it is deducted directly at source, from its royalties transferred by Sacem.
Anyss determined to meet his parent
Despite his conviction, the raï star refuses any contact with the 27-year-old young man. But the latter does not hear it that way and is ready to do anything to be able to speak at least once to the one who gave him life, even if it means using drastic measures.
This Monday evening, July 3, 2023, Khaled was present at the premises of the Beur FM radio station. As revealed Parisian/Today in France, Anyss would then have burst in before demanding to speak to him. Quickly dismissed by the host, the young man of 27 years would have refused to leave the premises and even “tried to infiltrate the premises without succeeding”.

Finally, once outside, he would have taken a photo of himself in front of his father’s Porsche, “threatening to degrade” the vehicle. An intimidation that decided Khaled to call in the policewho, once there, took Anyss to the police station.
Anyss gives his version of the facts
Quickly released, Anyss was contacted by The Parisian. Anyone who calls himself a journalist Monde and would have worked for Current values fiercely denied that he was harassing singer Khaled. As he explained, he would only “come on the radio to chat with him”: “But I don’t harass him. I even won my case in court”, he insisted on recalling. And to add:
I waited at the entrance. My father, because I specify that I am his son, sent me people to threaten me.
In 2010, Anyss had already tried to try to meet his father, during one of his concerts at the Olympia. An attempt that ended in failure and marked him a lot:
I had returned to the lodges. A guard told me he would come, pretended to accompany me and threw me out. I was 15, I freaked out.
This sadly memorable evening for the teenager at the time ended at the police station, where he was placed in police custody.
On January 12, 1995, Khaled married Samira Diabi. Together they became the parents of four legitimate daughters and one son. In 1997, the 63-year-old artist was again talked about in the press when his wife filed a complaint against him for domestic violencebefore retracting.
