“In the KIM (Advanced Indonesia Coalition) there is none. Everyone is unanimous,” said Fahri to journalists, Saturday (21/10/2023).
The process of registering Prabowo and his vice presidential candidate with the KPU, explained Fahri, was due to waiting for the complete presence of all the general chairmen of the KIM political parties. The reason is that the Chairman of PAN, who is also the Minister of Trade, Zulkifli Hasan, some time ago joined President Jokowi’s entourage to China and Saudi Arabia.
“Now all the general chairmen are complete, therefore we are in the process of a meeting and it will be announced later,” explained Fahri.
He emphasized that the leadership of the political parties in KIM had one voice regarding Prabowo’s vice presidential candidate. “It seems everything is unanimous but it still has to be agreed upon at the general chairman’s forum meeting,” he added.

In X Andi Arief’s account, he initially mentioned that there were already two candidate pairs who had registered with the KPU, namely Ganjar Pranowo-Mahfud Md and Anies Baswedan-Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin).
“Ganjar has declared with his cawapres and has registered with the KPU. Anies has declared with his cawapres and has registered with the KPU,” wrote Andi.
Andi mentioned that his presidential candidate had not yet registered with the KPU. According to him, Prabowo has his own thoughts but there are parties who impose their will.
“Why hasn’t Prabowo yet? Because there are those who really impose their will while Prabowo has other thoughts,” he said.
For your information, the Advanced Indonesia Coalition is the coalition supporting Prabowo as the presidential candidate. Apart from the Democrats, KIM includes Gerindra, Golkar, PAN, Gelora and Garuda.
