Lister also revealed that Nader’s doctors had diagnosed incurable cancer only a few days ago – on Friday the 13th. He died exactly ten days later.
Before his death, the actor worked on his memoirs, in which he dealt extensively with his addictions – alcohol, marijuana and cocaine.
Nader’s best-known role was Dex Dexter in the Dynasty series. He performed in the highly successful series from 1983 until 1989, when filming ended. His hallmark was a scar on his face, which he came to at just six years old when he was hit by a drunk driver.
