Russian Alexandr Bolshunov and American Jessie Diggis remained at the top of the standings before the final at Alpe Cermis. Bolshunov, who equaled the record of compatriot Sergei Ustugov from the 2016/17 season in the fifth stage of the Tour won in the fifth fifteen stage on Friday, finished third today. Diggins was tenth.
Bolshunov will set off on Sunday for the dreaded final climb with a huge lead of 3:22 minutes before the Frenchman Maurice Manificat. Novák is currently twenty-four. Diggins is 54 seconds ahead of Russia’s Julia Stupak. Razýmová lost the 16th place in the overall standings slightly in the overall standings, but loses only twelve seconds to 13th place.
