TEXAS – Robbie Middleton, died of skin cancer caused by third degree burns. The burn occurred when he was 8 years old. At that time, he was tied to a tree, then thrown gasoline before burned brutally.
The mother found herself in a pathetic condition. Her skin blistered beyond recognition after the fire. From then on, his life was never the same again. It is known, Robbie is the youngest of three children of Colleen and Bobby’s parents.
Colleen also revealed the chronology of the sad event. On Robbie’s 8th birthday on June 28, 1998, he was presented with a new tent. At that time, he planned to visit a friend’s house before setting up a tent and enjoying the rest of his big day with his family. However, on his way to a friend’s house and having to pass through the woods, he becomes an ‘easy target’ for the 13-year-old teenager who allegedly raped him two weeks earlier.

Minutes later, Robbie is seen in pain from the woods in Splendora, Texas. His body was full of flames and his entire skin melted. The mother was shocked and immediately rushed her to the hospital (RS). Experts feared he would not survive after he suffered third-degree burns to 99% of his body – with only the soles of his feet surviving.
Medics worked tirelessly to save the boy’s life. Including countless skin grafts and more than 150 operations. Meanwhile, after being discharged from the hospital, Robbie is severely disabled. Yet he wowed his friends and family with his optimism.
“The past is, well, the past. You have to let it go,” he said at the time.

But since then, his life has become more difficult and miserable, he has to go back and forth to the hospital for new skin grafts as his body grows. Not only that, he also had to re-learn how to walk. At the age of 20 he was diagnosed with skin cancer.
