The second Porsche center was opened in Lithuania

The new “Porsche Centras Klaipėda” opened its doors in Western Lithuania. On the opening night, the latest creations of the Porsche manufacturer were also presented – the electric “Porsche Taycan” and “Porsche Panamera”. This is already the second center of the manufacturer of legendary, sports and luxury cars in Lithuania.

According to Porsche representatives, the new Porsche center in Western Lithuania marks a new path for this legendary car manufacturer in the history of Lithuanian automobiles. Therefore, it is no coincidence that on the occasion of its opening, guests were greeted not only by the manufacturer’s latest creations, racing cars from the “Porsche Racing Experience” project, but also by some of the most valuable Porsche models adorning private collections.

The opening of the second “Porsche” center in Lithuania is equivalent to a journey to an even wider world of cars full of history, innovation, the highest standards and progress. This is our message to the entire community of these car enthusiasts, to whom we bring the highest standards of service, and by bringing together those burning with one passion, we will also enable exceptional initiatives,” says Rasa Klimavičiūtė, head of Porsche Lietuva.

1350 sq. m. meters area “Porsche centras Klaipėda” is located on the way to Klaipėda, on the highway Vilnius – Klaipėda, near the Jakų viaduct, on Jubiliejaus Street.

The exhibition halls of the center reach 374 square meters. m., they simultaneously exhibit 4 of the latest works of the manufacturer, and 877 sq. m. in the car workshop, 6 cars can be serviced – from routine, technical inspection during the warranty and post-warranty period to car interior cleaning or body repair work.

Two electric car stations will start operating in June at the outdoor parking lot of “Porsche centras Klaipėda”. One of them has a power of 22 kW, the other 300 kW. The latter can load 3 cars at the same time. Meanwhile, a 230 sq.m. m. a space exclusively for Porsche Approved used cars.

“We didn’t choose Western Lithuania by chance – it is here that the Porsche community is actively expanding, and motor sports enthusiasts from all over the country gather in the summer. Therefore, when opening the new center, we are taking a much broader view – various social initiatives will soon begin to be implemented in it, starting with the creation of a community of car fans, ending with the most diverse events or exclusive activities. We also see the center as a new creative space in Klaipėda,” says Martas Stepukonis, manager of Porsche centras Klaipėda.

The latest works are presented

During the opening of the center, the car enthusiasts of Western Lithuania were the first to be presented with the latest creations of the manufacturer – the fully electric Porsche Taycan and Porsche Panamera.

The electric sports sedan Taycan features even more power, which depending on the model modification can reach up to 1034 hp, a longer driving distance and a faster charging process.

The new Taycan will now be able to cover a distance of up to 678 km on a fully charged battery according to the WLTP standard, or 175 km more than its predecessor

The new generation of 105 kWh Performance Battery Plus batteries installed in the electric sports sedan Taycan can receive up to 50 kW more charging power than its predecessor, which now reaches up to 320 kW at 800 V voltage. This allows the new Porsche electric car to be charged in a significantly shorter time – just 18 minutes. up to 80 percent, which is especially convenient on long trips.

Specifically for the updated Taycan models, Porsche has developed aerodynamically optimized 21-inch wheels with reduced rolling resistance tires.

The latter is characterized by even faster acceleration. The new Porsche Taycan Turbo GT with the Weissach package accelerates to 100 km/h in just 2.2 seconds.

Meanwhile, the Porsche Panamera debuts with a new exterior and interior design, next-generation hybrid technology and, while maintaining its sportiness, can provide even more comfort than its predecessor.

The new Panamera features dual-chamber, dual-valve technology air suspension with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM) for improved driving precision and performance. This reduces unnecessary body movements in dynamic driving situations. This is based on newly developed active shock absorbers and two-valve technology connected to an electrically controlled hydraulic pump, which allows to counterbalance and compensate the resulting forces in various driving situations.

The sports hybrid sedan accelerates from 0 to 100 km/h in 4.1 seconds, has a top speed of 280 km/h, and can cover up to 96 kilometers on electric power alone.

In addition, customers will be able to purchase the high-definition HD Matrix LED lighting system with more than 32,000 pixels per lamp in the Panamera models, which allows the road surface to be illuminated up to 600 meters.

Depending on the modification of the Panamera model, the power of the car can reach up to 680 hp

A large group of guests visited

More than 200 car enthusiasts gathered on the opening night of “Porsche centras Klaipėda”.

At the opening ceremony of the new center, the guests were the first to get acquainted with the idea and future plans of the only legendary Porsche car center in Western Lithuania, and were also able to enjoy the Porsche Speedster, Porsche Carrera GT legendary cars stored in private car collections in Lithuania and the Porsche Experience project. racing cars – the highlight of motorsport “Porsche 911 GT3 CUP” and the new season “Porsche Cayman GT4 RS Clubsport”.

The event was hosted by Rolandas Mackevičius, representatives of Porsche manufacturers also participated in its opening, who were impressed by Lithuanian Porsche enthusiasts.
