As for the Galaxy Z Flip, Samsung would like to take an ultra-thin glass screen for its Galaxy Fold 2, expected for this summer. The manufacturer however keeps the option of the plastic screen in case of design concerns.
The first Samsung Galaxy Fold

After a Galaxy Fold launched late last year, Samsung is expected to launch its logically named successor this summer Galaxy Fold 2. The device should take the same format as the first model, halfway between the smartphone and the foldable tablet.
Last year, the Samsung galaxy fold had however been strongly criticized because of the fragility of its screen. The plastic screen considered as an alternative
It finally seems that for the Galaxy Fold 2, Samsung is ready to integrate this ultra-thin glass screen technology on his next model. Samsung’s folding glass, also known as “Ultrafine glass” is actually a type of glass that comes under a layer of plastic. It has the advantage of offering a more pleasant and solid feeling than the transparent polyimide plastic of the first Galaxy Fold, as well as greater resistance, in particular to scratches.
The Samsung Galaxy Fold 2 should probably be presented during the summer, at the same time as the future range of Samsung Galaxy Note 20. According to ETNews, the foldable smartphone must go into production between June or July for a presentation in August.
