The remaining timetable for the 2024 presidential election procedures – Youm7

Candidates for the presidential elections continue, Election campaigns They will be entitled to the elections, after the National Elections Authority, headed by Counselor Hazem Badawi, announced the final list of presidential candidates, and the electoral symbols that the candidates will use in the presidential race, according to the timetable for electoral procedures set by the authority.

After completing more than half of the electoral procedures, which began on October 5 and included submitting candidate papers, submitting grievances, examining and considering them, announcing the initial list of candidates, submitting appeals before the Supreme Administrative Court, examining and adjudicating them, choosing electoral symbols, and announcing the final list of presidential candidates. Nearly half of the electoral procedures will remain.

Electoral silence begins and the electoral campaign for the elections for Egyptians abroad begins at 12 am on Wednesday, November 29, 2023, two days before the polling date, local time for each country, while the date for the elections for Egyptians abroad will be from 9 am to 9 pm, local time for each country. Within three days of Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, December 1, 2, and 3, 2023.

The electoral silence begins and you stop Election campaigns Starting at 12 a.m. on Friday, December 8, 2023, two days before the polling date. As for the date of the 2023 Egyptian presidential elections at home, the elections will be held at home from 9 a.m. until 9 p.m. for three days, Sunday, Monday, and Tuesday, December 10, 11, and 12, 2023.

The counting process ends and the records are delivered to the general committees and the decisions of the general committees regarding objections and all issues related to the voting process and the announcement of the numerical tally of votes on Wednesday, December 13, 2023. The Authority receives appeals against the decisions of the general committees on Thursday, December 14, 2023, and decides on the appeals submitted in the decisions of the general committees on Friday and Saturday. December 15 and 16, 2023.

The authority set December 19 and 20 to submit appeals and register them in the Supreme Administrative Court’s docket. The period for deciding appeals before the Supreme Administrative Court is 10 days, starting from December 21 until December 30.

The timetable included that the election campaign would stop and the first period of propaganda silence would begin on January 4.

Runoff elections for Egyptians abroad begin on January 5, 6, and 7. The electoral campaign stops and the second propaganda silence period begins on January 7.

Run-off elections for Egyptians inside Egypt will be held on January 8, 9, and 10, with the sorting process ending and sending reports to the general committees on all issues related to the vote on January 11.

The National Authority receives appeals against the decisions of the general committees on January 12 and decides on the appeals submitted against the decisions of the general committees on January 13 and 14, provided that the final results of the elections are announced and published in the Official Gazette on January 16.
