Riga, August 25, LETA. The concert of the American artist “Bon Iver” will take place in Mežaparks Green Theater on August 18 next year, the organizers of the event “First Baltic International” (FBI) informed LETA.

According to the FBI, the concert was to take place on November 2 in “Arena Riga”, however, due to the gathering restrictions introduced by the Covid-19 pandemic, it was postponed to next summer. The purchased tickets will be valid until the date of the new concert, as well as they can be purchased in the “Biļešu Serviss” network.

Bon Iver’s debut album “For Emma, ​​Forever Ago”, created by Justin Vernon in 2007, became a real cornerstone of the Indian genre, gaining widespread acclaim from world music critics and listeners.

In August 2019, “Bon Iver” released the fourth studio album “i, i”. The songs on the album became widely available on global radio stations. “i, i” highlights Vernon’s creative mood, which the artist has successfully transformed into 13 tracks on the album, involving almost 50 musicians, the FBI said.
