The police with urgent checks after footage of dangerous maneuvers and drifts under the windows of the president and the prime minister. One of the filmed drivers – Georgi Fikov – spoke only to NOVA. Tomorrow he will voluntarily surrender his license.
The shots of the drifts on the yellow cobblestones were uploaded to social networks a few days ago. Georgi Fikov is in the driver’s seat of the car. In front of us, he stated that his car had swerved and he lost control. There are other videos of him driving in a similar manner on the Internet.
I remind you that the same Georgi Fikov got stuck in a stopped car on the road between Tsarevo and Ahtopol a year ago. True luck is the reason why there were no victims and no serious injuries after the accident.

This is the video that prompted the police to act and hold 21-year-old Georgi Fikov accountable. Only to NOVA he stated that he was aware of his actions.
“I’m going to hand over my license tomorrow. They wrote me a deed, I just lost my car out of control, they wrote me a deed. I bear the consequences and tomorrow I am going to hand in my license”, said Georgi Fikov.
His luxury car has sparked interest before. She was photographed in exactly the same place, in exactly the same situation, despite George’s claims.
Georgi Fikov’s father, also named Georgi, did not see a problem.
“I wouldn’t call it a drift. She just dropped his car, maybe”, commented Georgi Fikov – father.
In August 2022, Georgi Fikov missed one of the sharp turns between Tsarevo and Ahtopol. His sports car crashes into a parked car, which was fortunately empty at the time. Sources from the investigation revealed to NOVA that the sports car, according to documents, belonged to Georgi Fikov’s grandmother.
And despite the changes in the Criminal Code, not all cases on the road have been cleared, according to lawyers.
“In the law, as it is now adopted, such behavior is not sanctioned by confiscation of the vehicle,” explained lawyer Lyudmil Rangelov.
