Two days after the broadcast of an intimate video by Benjamin Griveaux, we already know a little more.
According to BFM TV and Le Parisien, the recipient of the videos of a sexual nature sent by the former candidate LREM to the City Hall of Paris would be a young woman of 29 years old, originally from Metz. And this would be none other than the companion of Piotr Pavlenski, the man who put the said videos online on his site “PornPolitique”. They have been in a relationship since January 2019 while the videos were shared in May 2018 in a private conversation on Facebook.
If the police officially confirm the information, they will still have to determine if the young woman voluntarily provided the images or if she was robbed.
Piotr Pavlenski had explained Friday to have made his videos public to “denounce the hypocrisy of Benjamin Griveaux who advocated family values”.
Also according to BFM TV, Piotr Pavlenski and his companion were arrested in a Parisian hotel. The Russian activist is currently in police custody for a case of violence committed on the evening of December 31 while his partner is heard in open court.
After having decided to give up the City Hall of Paris, the ex-spokesperson of the French government brought a complaint against X.
The Paris prosecution has formalized the opening of an investigation for “invasion of privacy”.
