After the news circulated and rumors that asteroid collision with Earth was warned on Wednesday, the 29th of next April, the astronomical society in Jeddah confirmed that all these news reports are not true.
“Majid Abu Zahira,” the head of the astronomical association in Jeddah, denied the rumors that a huge asteroid had struck Earth on April 29th, and stated that the asteroid would only pass near Earth’s orbit.
Abu Zahira confirmed that the asteroid will pass at 11:56 am at a distance of 6,290,589 km from Earth, which means that it will be very far and faint and not seen with the naked eye, and it will pass safely.
