The radio production will feature eight stories about recognizable situations from the everyday, reflection and relationship experiences of different men.

Providing professional assessment and recommendations, the situations included in the play will be analyzed by the books “Cockroaches in Your Head. Stories about men ”co-author, psychotherapist Gatis Līdums.

“Sometimes we suffer from the same injuries, but we manage our minds ‘cockroaches’ differently, so we look different in everyday life. Men’s minds are preoccupied with fear, which is their biggest cockroach, as well as anxiety, insecurity, overestimation or underestimation, stopping, or rushing forward.

The main thing is to notice at least one “cockroach” in your head, and it will be the first step towards its eradication. These radio stories encourage you to see! “Said psychotherapist Gatis Līdums.

Director Karina Tatarinova admits that during the radio production she gained a lot of valuable personal reflection: “” Cockroaches in your head “or” male cockroaches “are stories about topics that boys, men, elders turn to a psychotherapist. If they come … But they are also stories about women – what influence and impression we create and leave, how to influence our men, whether willy or not, situations are stereotypical, so many thanks to the actors who created their characters by adding a character “raisin”, which may not be recorded in the story itself. Although life situations are recognizable, they create a different emotional background for both actors and listeners, resonate differently for each other, because we each have our own life experience. “

In March of this year, the production directed by Tatarinova was premiered at the Radio Theater “Cockroaches in my head“, which depicted women ‘s emotional world and relationship situations.
