The Summer 2020 Monuments Opening Program that this year will come to 58 towns in the province with the opening of 67 monuments in total located in two large areas, on the one hand the Camino de Santiago and on the other the North Romanesque. As novelties the extension of the dates that this year will go from July 13 to September 14 and the opening from Tuesday to Thursday with homogeneous hours to facilitate visits. Most of the monuments can be visited from Tuesday to Sunday, from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 5:00 p.m. to 7:45 p.m. Will also be established security measures against COVID-19.
To access the interior of the monuments will be need the mandatory use of masks, keep a safety distance of 2 meters between people, large guided tours have been eliminated, limiting the capacity that, in no case, may exceed 25 people, it will be mandatory to disinfect the hands and road to the entry of the same and, it will be forbidden to touch anything inside as well as to sit on the benches to avoid possible infections. Last year 36,308 people visited the monuments of the Northern Romanesque route while 58,770 did the same with those of the Camino de Santiago. this year with the empowerment of indoor tourism it is trusted to match and even exceed those numbers.
