On Thursday, Xiaomi unveiled its first Redmi phone with Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset, which also features an exceptional display.
The Redmi K50 Ultra phone is similar to a mix of the K50 Pro and K50 Gaming, but it is better than them in some ways, according to the “gsmarena” website.
The Redmi K50 Ultra is the first Redmi phone to feature the new Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset.
The chips are connected to a 3725 mm² steam chamber that keeps the chip cool even after more than two hours of playing. More importantly, the phone can maintain approximately 120 frames per second.

The Redmi K50 Ultra borrows the power system from the K50 Pro, and comes with a 5000mAh battery that offers 120W fast charging thanks to the Surge P1 internal chip.
The camera is also upgraded from the Pro, including the 108MP main sensor with OIS, and the HM6’s 1/1.4-inch sensor with 0.64µm native pixels, which can be combined (9 to 1) into 1.92µm effective pixels.
This camera has a compound lens with a single glass, 5 plastic elements that allow more light to pass through, and an f/1.6 aperture to take off.
There is also an 8-megapixel ultra-wide camera on the back and a 2-megapixel macro lens, and the selfie camera on the front has a 20-megapixel sensor (IMX596).
The phone Redmi K50 Ultra supports 5G with Wi-Fi 6E connectivity and there is both an NFC and an IR blaster on board. Stereo speakers feature Dolby Atmos support, while wired (via USB-C) and wireless headphone output bear the mark of Hi-Res Audio.
