The Presidents of Disneyland Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood are excited to announce reopening dates soon – Celebrity Land

California’s adjusted plan for a safer economy will allow theme parks to reopen when their host county reaches the red level. Orange and Los Angeles counties are currently at the most severe purple levels, but are expected to drop to the red level as early as March 29. COVID-19 numbers are expected to hit the new threshold as soon as this Tuesday. They must remain at that level for three consecutive weeks before theme parks are allowed to reopen.

Karen Irwin, president and chief operating officer of Universal Studios Hollywood, said Term,

We are ready to reopen, ready for our team members to go back to work, ready to help stimulate the local economy and ready to welcome guests. “

Both the Disneyland Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood have plans to open for special ticketed dining events, but this news could mean the entire park reopening with limited capacity in the very near future. Disneyland and Universal Studios have been closed since March 2020.
