The controversy over the recipe for the French Cup match between Trélissac and OM has rebounded on the side of Bergerac. Explanations.
The OM that does not leave Trélissac lovers the full recipe for its 32e of the Coupe de France finals, the news has been making a big splash since Sunday evening, briskly revived by the official press releases of the two clubs concerned. Quickly after the qualification snatched on penalties by the Marseillais, the President of Trélissacois was moved by the lack of class of his prestigious opponent, who did not deign to observe what is nowadays a custom. This causing a succession of more or less well-felt reactions.
Among these, that of the president of the Bergerac club, a boarder like Trélissac from National 2 and eliminated by the same TFC during the previous round of the Coupe de France. The boss of the BPFC, Christophe Fauvel, taking advantage of the controversy to pin his counterpart Fabrice Faure, who also did not share the recipe for the eighth round favorable to his team at the expense of Bergeracois.

A development echoing the remark of the Olympians in their official statement published late Sunday evening: ” It has often been the club’s policy to leave the recipe when OM are hosted in particularly country stadiums where capacity is low. For today’s match, Trélissac benefited from a 13,000-seat stadium and practiced a pricing policy which – if fully justified – was priced between 20 and 35 euros per seat. Total revenue amounted to almost 400,000 euros before deduction of organizational costs. Thanks to the hosting of the OM, the stadium was full and, moreover, mainly welcomed Marseille supporters, who were in the majority. It seemed fair to us that in these particular conditions the two clubs share the proceeds, especially since this trip cost OM 65,000 euros. “
