The premieres of the first blockbusters after the pandemic again rescheduled

The “argument” was to be the first big-budget film to be released after the cancellation of the pictures due to the pandemic of a new coronavirus infection.

The prime minister, originally scheduled for July 17, was moved twice: first on July 31, and now on August 12. Instead of “The Reason” on July 31, Nolan’s film “The Beginning”, released ten years ago, will be shown in American cinemas.

Shortly after the announcement of Warner Bros. Disney has changed the date for the Mulan premiere on the transfer of the argument. The film, which was supposed to be released on July 24, will be shown in cinemas no earlier than August 21. Earlier it was planned to be released on March 27.

The postponement of the premiere of the “Reason” is associated with the extension of quarantine measures in some US states. Since cinemas in New York and Los Angeles probably won’t open until August, the studio could lose a substantial share of the American box office. In turn, Disney does not want to be the first film company to release a blockbuster in the midst of a pandemic. According to analysts, the company moved the release of “Mulan” to assess possible risks on the example of the “argument”, shot by Warner Bros. The budgets of both films are at least $ 200 million.
