The Porsche 911 Turbo is here in a new generation, but the output of 580 hp does not mean the top

Turbo is a brand so classic that Porsche uses it for the most powerful version of the Taycan electric car, although of course it has no turbocharger. Of course, the new 911 Turbo generation 992 has exactly two.

The flat six-cylinder with a displacement of 3.8 liters offers 580 horsepower and 750 Nm of maximum torque. All wheels drive through an eight-speed dual-clutch transmission. Acceleration from zero to 100 is a matter of 2.8 seconds, the maximum speed is 320 km / h.

Chassis specialties such as rear swivel wheels, sports suspension including adaptive shock absorbers and electronically controlled active stabilizers are also available. Steel brakes are standard, carbon-ceramic can be selected at an additional cost.

The new 911 Turbo takes over most of the changes made to the Turbo S, including improved steering response with an additional 1.65 inches of front wheel width to a total of 255 millimeters. At the front you will find tires of size 255/35 R20, at the rear even 315/30 R21.

Visually, you can hardly distinguish the Turbo and Turbo S from each other, so the Turbo also gets an inflated, wider body, a large rear spoiler or a more pronounced “touch” on the side.

The basic price is 4.8 million crowns, and the coupe and convertible are currently on pre-sale.
