The attack launched by Kyriakos Mitsotakis on the opposition did not go unanswered. “Mr. Kyriakos Mitsotakis again showed panic by pointing the finger at the Official Opposition”says SYRIZA – PS in its announcement on the occasion of the prime minister’s speech at the closing of the ND congress.
He comments in particular that “the prime minister of accuracy, big scandals, opacity and wiretapping, the prime minister of the cover-up of the crime of Tempe, resorted today to his favorite tactic: the slander of SYRIZA – PS whom he once again accused of populism”. He adds that Mr. Mitsotakis “even got to the point of recalling the gatherings that were held in the Constitution by citizens because of the bankruptcy the ND led the country to, trying to justify the inadequacy of his government”.
SYRIZA – PS reports that “no matter how much he enlists his European friends in his attempt to discredit the main opposition party and his period of government, the citizens have now understood who Mr. Mitsotakis is and will clearly show it to him at the polls of the European elections”.
Haritsis: “The president of the commission functions as the party leader of Mr. Mitsotakis”
“It is absolutely clear that Mr. Mitsotakis is tied to the most hard neoliberal authoritarian NATO part of the European leadership”said Alexis Haritsis speaking to Euractiv and journalist Sarantis Michalopoulos regarding the presence of the commission president Ursula Von der Leyen at the ND conference.
The president of the KO of the New Left emphasized that “the anti-institutional behavior of the president of the commission who works as a party leader in the service of Mr. Mitsotakis is one more reason for him and the ND to decolonize at the ballot box.”.
