The Paris police headquarters is issuing a call for witnesses on Thursday to find the fleeing police officer. The man is suspected of having killed his partner on January 28 in Paris.
The young woman was discovered on January 28 in the couple’s apartment, rue David d’Angers in the 19th arrondissement of Paris. According to the autopsy, she was strangled.
Her companion, a police officer known for domestic violence, is still at large. His service weapon was not found either at the Blanc-Mesnil police station in Seine-Saint-Denis where he worked, or in his apartment.
“Arnaud B is a policeman. He is in possession of his service weapon and a black commando backpack. He is traveling in a white Peugeot 208 vehicle in poor condition registered DQ7 cents 59 HN“, can we read in the call for witnesses issued by the Paris police headquarters.
“The person concerned is likely to travel throughout the territory“, specifies the prefecture.
The prefecture asks not to intervene but to call the green number 0800 00 27 08 in the event of discovery of the fugitive.
The 2nd district of the Paris judicial police is in charge of the investigations. An investigation has been opened for “intentional homicide on a cohabitant.”
