“It was my son who raised this little parakeet in his pocket, so any baby, explains Véronique Drehsen, owner of Blue. He taught her many things. The condition for him to keep it was that she does not live in a cage because I, the idea that a bird is in a cage insupports me. So we agreed that she would live in the house and that we would teach her to go out so that we wouldn’t have to leave her alone. So she is very used to humans, she is familiar, that’s how she ended up on the terraces. It is publicized without my knowledge, but if we can find it thanks to that, so much the better. “
The family even created a Facebook page called “Operation Parakeet Blue“, which recommends advice and contacts if you spot the lost bird.
Not enough to confuse her in Brussels.
