Critics have praised the humor, the evolution of the scenario and the crazy characters of the RPG which plunges you into the heart of the galaxy.

A first-person RPG developed by the Obsidian team, The Outer Worlds takes you on a journey to Halcyon, the most remote land colony in the galaxy. As you wake up after hibernating in a spaceship, your hero will be faced with your own choices: it’s up to you to behave well, or to play the bad boy. In this dystopian universe, the balance of power is in your hands!

Note: 15/20

It is clear that the mechanics of The Outer Worlds, in many ways modeled on those of New Vegas, have aged. Technically late and artistically often dubious, the title of Obsidian does not always manage to reach the depth of its standard meter because of certain mechanical gadgets or imprecise, and of a sometimes expeditious writing, in particular as regards the companions. However, we find all the scent, which begins to be old-schoold, of the RPG 3D Obsidian way, with its incisive, often funny and mature purpose in the service of an adventure which guarantees a high potential of replayability, according to whether you choose to play a junk, a saint or a follower of compromise. The game does what was expected of it, and it does it pretty well, but maybe we secretly expected more.—
