72 further corona infections have been detected in the state of Bremen. 64 of them in the city of Bremen and eight in Bremerhaven. The health department has now announced. The 7-day incidence is 59.4 for Bremen and 98.5 for Bremerhaven. Compared to Tuesday a week ago, there are now 15 more new infections in the city of Bremen. On Sunday, 58 new infections were reported in the city of Bremen, but only 14 on Monday.
Two other Covid 19 patients died. One person came from Bremen and one from Bremerhaven. A total of 317 people died in connection with their corona infection in the state of Bremen.
Upper limit and 7-day incidence
In the state of Bremen, 161 people currently have to be hospitalized, 31 of them in intensive care units. 20 of the people treated in intensive care have to be ventilated. According to the health department, the state of health of at least 35 people must be described as poor or critical.
Corona outbreaks in eleven old people’s homes
There are currently 174 corona infections in 13 inpatient retirement and senior citizens’ homes in the city of Bremen. Residents are affected in 111 infections and 63 employees. There are outbreaks in eleven facilities and individual infections in the two other facilities. The health department closely supervises the affected facilities and carries out tests on site.
40,508 people in the state of Bremen are currently vaccinated against the coronavirus. 15,103 people have already received both vaccinations. 1,097 people were vaccinated on Monday, 682 of which were second vaccinations. In the city of Bremen 33,131 people are currently vaccinated, in Bremerhaven 7,377.
