10 new coronavirus patients in Bulgaria infect 11 new people. The reason is the new British more contagious version of the virus. This was calculated for bTV by the mathematician of the headquarters Prof. Nikolay Vitanov.
The previous peak in reproductive numbers was in late October, when ten patients infected 19 people.
The forecast is that in the coming days the coefficient will continue to rise and approach this value.
The map with the 14-day morbidity per 100 thousand population in the country to date shows: in Burgas the number is 922 per 100 thousand, in Varna – 661 per 100 thousand, in Sofia – 876 per 100 thousand, and in Plovdiv – 452 per 100 thousand people.
