The newly elected deputy governor of Pilsen drove through the village in his 90s

“At the beginning of the village, I flew there like this. I’m not sure exactly how much I drove, but it was around ninety, “said Čížek.

That police officer in the village checked the driver who exceeded the speed limit that day was also confirmed by police spokeswoman Ivana Jelínková. “As part of our service, we dealt with the driver’s misdemeanor conduct in the morning and reported the misdemeanor to the administrative body,” Jelínková.

“I presented the police with all the necessary documents and signed the report,” the deputy added.

The police referred the case to misdemeanor proceedings. His transgression is now being solved by the Municipal Office in Blovice. “I have not received a summons yet. I do not hide anything and I will be punished like any other citizen. That’s just the way it is, “said Čížek.

If it was proved that the deputy drove over 90 km / h, and thus exceeded the speed by 40 or more kilometers per hour, he would be in danger of losing his driver’s license for half a year to a year. He could also be punished by a fine of five to 10 thousand crowns and a deduction of five points.

If he drove through the village a little less, ie he fit under 90 km / h, he would be threatened with a fine of up to 5,000 crowns and three points, his driving license would remain.
