These potential names include: “Washington Warriors,” “Washington Red Tails,” “Washington Red Hawks,” and “DC Americans.” As a temporary replacement, “Washington Football Team” was brought into play, with team president Jason Wright hinting during the previous season that it would be difficult to develop a completely new identity by 2021.
