Mercedes-Benz has published teaser and details about the future electric liftback EQS. In particular, an innovative air conditioning system will be available for the car, which will make the air in the cabin “as clean as in the operating room.”
The air purification system uses highly efficient HEPA (High Efficiency Particulate Arrestance) filters, which protect the driver and passengers from the penetration of the smallest particles and bacteria into the cabin. The company noted that for the first time in the history of the automotive industry, the degree of protection will comply with the DIN EN 1822 standard.
The filter with a total volume of 10 liters will retain the smallest dust, nitrogen oxides, sulfur dioxide, and unpleasant odors.

In addition, the Mercedes-Benz EQS will receive the next generation MBUX infotainment system with machine learning, voice command recognition, 3D graphics and augmented reality.
Mercedes-Benz EQS will be the flagship electric car of the German brand. The novelty will be created on a modular platform EVA (Electric Vehicle Architecture), designed specifically for cars without internal combustion engines. EQS, which will premiere in 2021, will be able to travel up to 700 kilometers without recharging its batteries.
