Pertamina raises fuel prices in the new normal era.

Gridhot.ID – Pertamina’s fuel consumption in the New Normal era or since June 8, 2020, has begun to creep up to an average of 114 thousand KL per day.
Even though it is still below the normal average of January – February 2020 which is recorded at 135 thousand KL per day, but that number has increased by around 10% compared to the enactment of the Large Scale Social Restrictions (PSBB).
Pertamina Corporate Communication Vice President, Fajriyah Usman, said that both gasoline and gasoil fuel consumption had begun to increase in line with the operation of public transportation facilities and private vehicles, industries, offices, as well as shopping centers and MSME players.

However, fuel consumption was still below the normal average before the Covid-19 pandemic.
“If during the PSBB, fuel consumption in general has decreased by around 26%, currently the reduction has decreased to around 16% compared to the average normal consumption,” Fajriyah said. Tribunnews.
Fajriyah explained, ahead of the second half of 2020 with a new normal transition policy, gasoline consumption was recorded at 78.82 thousand KL while gasoil consumption reached 34.99 thousand KL.

“To encourage sales levels as well as to show the company’s commitment in carrying out its duties to provide energy, Pertamina continues to distribute fuel to all corners of the country, so that all gas stations continue to operate serving consumers both during PSBB, New Normal and Normal.”
